Meet Dr. Richard Weatherill

Dr. Richard Weatherill is a native of Alberta, Canada where he grew up in the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains. After graduating from high school Richard attended the University of Calgary where he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Zoology & Psychology. After obtaining his bachelor degrees Richard went on to the University of Sydney Australia to earn his Doctorate in Dentistry. Dr. Weatherill finished in the top of his class and earned the University’s Awards in Fixed Prosthodontics (crown, bridge & implants), Removable Prosthodontics (Full & Partial Dentures), International Merit Scholarship (outstanding achievements), and the Oral Health scholarship.

Richard then attended the University of Texas at Houston to complete a one year elective Advanced Education in General Dentistry. At his Residency he trained in oral sedation, advanced treatment planning, and full mouth rehabilitations. Upon completion Dr. Weatherill was recognized as Resident of the Year. He then sought a second year of Advanced General Dentistry training with the North West Dental Residency in eastern Washington who is partnered with the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinics. While working in Grandview at the YVFWC, he was able to deliver some of the best care dentistry can offer to an often underserved & appreciative population.

Richard’s passion for his family and friends directed him to the north western United States. After years of travel and training from Alberta to Australia, Taiwan to Texas, Richard has come full circle, making his home in the Tri Cities.
